Barış Ergin born in Istanbul in 1979. He graduated from Yildiz Technical
University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Department of Economics
Barış Ergin, and  started his career in 2001 at Milliyet.
He started out as a finance reporter. Later
Ergin,was  on the founding team of Fortune Magazine. In 2009 he started working at Sabah newspaper where he is still writing at.

Barış Ergin,  teaches Financial Technology at Bilgi University.  One  of his expertise areas is China and far east markets.
